Meanwhile I arrived so late to LJ that I was on the outside looking in. And I joined when I was about 18 (I'm almost 25 now). LJ was only great if you'd been there long enough to be in the cliques. I've had more fun and discussion on Tumblr than I had in ages on LJ/DW. :/ And yes, actual discussion. Sharing of headcanons, talk of meta, discussing plot twists, etc. I didn't get to do that on LJ because by the time I found it, everyone was set in their ways and only really cared about what certain other people said or kind of just ignored you until you ~proved yourself~.
