And I kinda like your reasoning, lol. I don't always do this but it has happened. I shipped Korrasami (somewhat casually; didn't think it would happen, like everyone else) pretty early on but only because I thought they both deserved better than Mako.

I'm the same. Wasn't hugely invested with Korrasami but I HATED Mako and thought Asami was the most interesting character along with Korra so I shipped them together.

Honestly though? I hate the idea of Korra/Mako/Asami even MORE than either Mako/Korra or Mako /Asami.

The OT3 just makes it worse.

I actually like Mako but I hated him whenever he was in a relationship. He's a relationship killer, he was killing his own character so I guess KorrasamiMako is my first ever NOTP3 because it'd be 3x the disaster.

I shipped them because I thought it would be cute, and because I just wanted them to spite Mako. But now that it's canon I kinda like it for what it is, and I'm thinking about it as more than a crack ship.

I don't think I'd like that threesome either, though I haven't thought of it before.

Mako/Korra/Asami is such a big NO to me, and I hate when people bring it up as a threesome to solve shipping wars. Nooo way.

A threesome seems to me like it would be a completely different dynamic than any pairing it could make would be, so it's not always a solution. And I personally don't much care for them - I tend to just stick with shipping pairs, so I haven't even thought about M/K/A as a possibility, honestly. I don't think I'd like it either, though.
