Okay, Sarah Connor Chronicles fans apparently there's debate on this.

Alan Park: A cis man pretending to be a woman to hide from bad guys or a transwoman giving up her male identity to hide from bad guys?

I haven't seen the show. Do you mind outlining how it's portrayed a little? Or at least what kind of evidence people point to? Just out of curiosity really.

She's introduced as Eileen, a Woman who knows about Abraham, a blogging scientist leaking formation about drone technology with mysterious metals. Sarah figures out that Eileen is really Abraham/Alan Park, and while they argue, she calls herself a man living as a woman, which is tbe evidence for her being cis.

Later, though, she talks about how being on the run gave her the courage to be "myself" and that she'd never go back to what she was. Also while under hypnosis tryi g to figure out where a blacked out van took her and all her coworkers, she said they don't know her secret, that she's really a waitress.

This doesn't make sense. Do you mean a trans man giving up his male identity (in other words, pretending to be a cis woman)?

No. I wasn't referring to identity in the sense of what one identities as but by what one is identified by. And the Alan Park identity is what she let go of to become Eileen.

Essentially, I guess what I'm getting at is you're still trans even if you lack the funds or courage to actually transition and live as the opposite sex, but in that instance, you still have your birth-gender identity that people know you by. And Eileen gave that up when she went on the run.
