I feel like there was a ton of unnecessarily angry complaining about it? I enjoyed it, I mean I wasn't actually expecting to find anything, so maybe that contributed to my enjoyment.

I never did find an egg, but I got incredibly lucky and found a breed change scroll, which I then sold for a ludicrous amount and I ended up getting everything I wanted anyway.
