I'm not sure it's hypocritical so much as indicative of your personal preference.

Apart from that, I will say that a lot of OT3s feel very forced. They come across as people being uncomfortable with the fact of there being a difference of opinion rather than as people truly seeing chemistry between the members of a proposed threesome. But I know from experience that the development of an OT3 can come from a person legitimately feeling that all three parties make sense together.

At the end of the day, I think it comes down to owning your own dis/likes while simultaneously accepting that other people are going to have different dis/likes from you.
