I go with "choose not to warn". It saves me the trouble of figuring out what weirdo tags people expect these days with the added benefit that only people who are capable of putting on their Big Reader Pants will read my fic.

I really wish you'd put this header at the top of all your fics so I would know to avoid them. Not because of the tagging issue, but because that "Big Reader Pants" comment shows your unfriendly attitude to your readers and it would be better to know that straight off.

/shrug I trust my readers to be intelligent enough to decide for themselves whether or not they want to read something. If that's unfriendly, then I hope most authors are this unfriendly to their audience, because assuming otherwise sounds very condescending.
