What the hell...? Opinions absolutely can be wrong. Calling something an "opinion" doesn't mean it can't or shouldn't be evaluated critically.

There are people who are of the opinion that the earth is flat. They are wrong. There are people of the opinion that the US was specifically founded to be a Christian theocracy. They are wrong. There are people who hold the opinion that Obama wasn't born in the US. They are wrong. There are people who hold the opinion that tje earth is only 6000 years old and that people coexisted with dinosaurs. They are wrong. There are people who hold the opinion that the only people worthy of citizenship are white, heterosexual, Christians. They are wrong.

What you're saying? That's the exact bullshit people use to avoid being challenged or having to think about what they believe. It's a way to hide, it's a way to justify being a bigot, and it's a way to ignore facts that make you uncomfortable.
