I think the PC thing and the MOBA thing are unrelated. The note about being a PC gamer is probably just to say they weren't exposed to some of the console classics like Mario or whatever while growing up, and the genre note is just to say that even genres that are big on PC are not their cup of tea (i.e. it's not that OP wants to play MOBAs and can't; they just don't want to play MOBAs, period).
