Big Reader Pants means people who aren't going to throw a tantrum because you haven't spoon-fed them key details about the story, because they're capable of either reading it and figuring it out for themselves and they're smart enough not to waste time reading an entire fic before they know whether or not they enjoy it.

I'd like people to enjoy my fics, but you know what? Not everyone will, and that's fine. If a reader needs me to tell them so much information before they're able to decide whether or not to read it, then maybe they're better off reading something else... and that's fine, too. I'm not fussed about it, so why are you? It seems like my "attitude" mostly involves me not wanting to do things how YOU think I should do them. Only one of us is throwing a wobbly here, so maybe you might want to rethink who needs to get over themselves.
