Me too, my mother used to read it to me when I was a kid and when I started crying she always tried to stop reading and I made her read the rest of it, every night for ages.

Oh and The Little Match Girl is up there among my favorites, just as happy as The Little Mermaid...

I think the Andersen's version is much more poignant.
