I am kinda glad to know I'm not the only one who wasn't into The Last Unicorn. I feel like I'm missing something since everyone else I know really really enjoyed it.

Eh, it's not my favorite story overall, either. I think parts of it are well-done, but I'm kind of meh about the themes.

It doesn't help that unicorns are a hard sell for me. I just find them so creepy.

I mean, come on, you have a horse with a Freudian horn that they like laying in virgin girls' laps (and never virgin boys, for some reason, it's ALWAYS girls)...

I saw it when I was a kid and it didn't make an impression. Then as an adult, everyone kept going on about it and hyping it up. I watched it again and was like: "....Really?"

It's an overrated movie.

Yeah, it just... didn't make much of an impression on me either. The book was the same way, I just... couldn't tell how seriously I should be taking it.
