I'm not policing someone's cosplay, because this isn't somebody cosplaying. It's a drawing. I would never, not in a million years go up to somebody in cosplay and say anything bad to them, and I have no interest in talking shit behind cosplayers' backs. I appreciate the effort that goes into it (I cosplay too), and I think everybody should have fun.
But this is a comm for talking about our thoughts on yaoi and whatever, so I can say that for me personally, it doesn't do it.
I mean if you go reducto ad absurdum, I can be red haired with freckles, wear a ball gown, and say I'm cosplaying Korra. I just think that cosplay, as an art form, works better with more effort put into basic character detail.

You're right, it's a drawing and I overreacted. (I mean not that I was super mad but I don't know where policing came from lol. my only excuse is it was late.)
