You know what? My feelings absolutely do trump anything you'd feel for me liking disgusting things. Everyone's feelings come first in their own lives. That's how it should be. Just as it's your right to put your own feelings first by cutting ties with people for liking things you find problematic. If it still damages your feelings that somewhere, someone you used to know is enjoying a problematic thing, that's when you have a problem (emphasis on "you").

Not only that, but my feelings over things I'm squeeing over trump those of some stranger's on the internet. And if some stranger on the internet is that invested in the fact that someone, somewhere, is enjoying something they find "problematic,"--enough that they call them a "shitty waste of space" and actually mean it--then they should probably get that seen to. Because damn, dude, over-react much?

Seriously, this. If it's bothering you that much, there is probably something wrong, and you should get help. And I mean this in the nicest way possible. When I get upset by something I see on the internet, I exit the page. If you can't do that, if you honestly cannot let it go, I feel sorry for you, because I imagine being that outraged all the time is both stressful and tiring.
