there's nothing wrong with what you're saying. the problem arises when people start saying it's not okay for writers to have an all white cast, or an all male cast or whatever. writers can and should write what they want. it's completely okay for them to not want to write about lesbians or whatever else. if people want more diversity then the only reasonable and sound thing for them to do is do it themselves, or find people who are doing it and support them.
