39. Jesus christ, secrets like this are really starting to get on my goddamn nerves. WE GET IT. No, Japan isn't the GREAT NATION OF ANIMU some retarded fans out there seem to think it is. But it's not the shitty, entirely narrow-minded place YOU make it out to be, either. Their culture is radically different from ours, and if you evaluate it based on American values, yeah, it's going to seem pretty fucking nutty. But if you analyzed US from THEIR perspective, we'd seem just as close-minded and batshit as people like you seem to view them. So chill the fuck out and just accept it for the place it is. The fantards will learn in time.

.. and okay, so maybe most of the rage here is directed at that OTHER "lol I hate Japan" secret that popped up a while back. at least you acknowledge there are good things. but my point stands.

Agreed. I wish we could keep the "I HATE JAPAN HOW DARE YOU THINK IT'S A GOOD PLACE" secrets to a minimum, since clearly it isn't something that you need to be keeping too secret - more than enough people think that way! Maybe they should go start an "I hate Japan but I love anime." community and leave the rest of us alone.

Note: Not saying zomg!Japan!Best-thing-ever!!!111!!!1!1!!! Just... ratchet it down a notch with the hating, okay?
