Re: Rec me a show for...

The old Sinbad movies with stopmotion effects by Ray Harryhausen have always been favourites of mine when it comes to old campy adventure movies. Particularly 'The Golden Voyage of Sinbad', mostly because I loved the Vizier and the eye-candy (male and female) is second to none. Although, to warn you, you will have to deal with an incredibly hammy performance by Tom Baker as the villain. I mean, I like it, but it's not a movie I watch to take seriously in the slightest.

If you like swashbucklers, I also recommend the 1937 version of 'Prisoner of Zenda' (the 1952 version isn't bad either, but I much prefer the cast from the '37 film, especially Fairbanks Jr as Hentzau). And while Zenda is in my head, and since you're looking for silly, campy action, you might enjoy 1965's 'The Great Race', with Tony Curtis and Jack Lemon. It's one of my favourite movies ever. Think 'Dick Dastardly and Muttley' in liveaction form, with bonus send-ups of Westerns, Travelogues and the Prisoner of Zenda.

I asolutely love 'The Great Race'! I should rewatch it. And your description of it is awesome.

I like hammy, I'll watch Sinbad. Reminds me of Ali Baba, the style of movie posters is similar.

'Prisoner of Zenda' looks great too.

Thank you for taking the time!
