(Anonymous) 2015-01-09 12:35 am (UTC)(link)If you like swashbucklers, I also recommend the 1937 version of 'Prisoner of Zenda' (the 1952 version isn't bad either, but I much prefer the cast from the '37 film, especially Fairbanks Jr as Hentzau). And while Zenda is in my head, and since you're looking for silly, campy action, you might enjoy 1965's 'The Great Race', with Tony Curtis and Jack Lemon. It's one of my favourite movies ever. Think 'Dick Dastardly and Muttley' in liveaction form, with bonus send-ups of Westerns, Travelogues and the Prisoner of Zenda.

I like hammy, I'll watch Sinbad. Reminds me of Ali Baba, the style of movie posters is similar.
'Prisoner of Zenda' looks great too.
