Maybe the secret-maker either means other fans' headcanons (which some fans argue are canon, ostensibly) or is using "headcanons" to mean "hypotheses that are barely plausible at best." The way it's phrased makes it sound as though the secret-maker dislikes the hypotheses they personally originate, which is indeed baffling.

Indeed. Doesn't everyone have their own ideas about canon? You don't have to post it on tumblr and say it's true for it to be a headcanon.
