First there was Shiroe and his friends, and I thought that they would get focus. Then there was the druid and the furry, and I thought they would get focus. By the time I gave up watching, there were thirteen major characters, and four of them had actually gotten meaningful development! Even the large-scale political intrigue got swallowed up in a boring “defeat the goblin king” plot!
