Jesus Christ, OP, get off your high horse.

Not wanting to be told that you MUST see the chemistry = fine.

Acting like a snob because people use colloquial language = being a dick.

See, I was assuming OP was possibly autistic or otherwise unable to interpret body language/tone of voice/etc. and was denying that "chemistry" was a thing, not picking on the colloquialism (which has been around since at least the 1940s.)

I am absolutely chemistry-blind and have to be fed relationships very clearly before I notice them. Don't know whether it's because I'm autistic spectrum or possibly asexual, though.

I'm not sure that argument makes more sense, but it seems to me that the OP is definitely addressing the word. The secret references the use of the word in quotation marks, after all.
