Chemistry is so wildly subjective too though.

Which is why I consider it a crappy argument. I think most of the time when people ship or don't ship something, it has more to do with liking or disliking the idea of the pairing more than with the highly subjective concept of "chemistry".

That's fair enough. Not everyone sees the same chemistry. I'd argue that it's more obvious for some pairings than others, but more often than not, it's subtext put in intentionally.

I can and have seen chemistry in ships that I don't like, so shut it.

That may well be true for you, but it's probably not a great idea to assume you know what other people's reasons are.

I agree. I sometimes boggle when people go on about the chemistry between two actors that seem so wooden together to me or when people say a certain couple has no chemistry and they seem to have it out the wazoo to me.
