My OTP for the last couple of years has been Vetinari/Drumknott and I like them so much because it's obvious that even in canon they have a pretty remarkable relationship, and they seem really close and comfortable with each other. Especially since nobody is ever comfortable in Vetinari's presence, so the mere fact that Drumknott is always calm and speaks frankly with him, even making little jokes, is enough to make their relationship seem pretty special.

also, ngl, age/power differences always get me it's a terrible kink

I just kind of have difficulty seeing Vetinari as a sexual being. Or if he is, he seems like he might have some kind of crazy paraphilia.
