Re: OTP thread- inspired by the Chemistry secret
For Buwaro, it's because Kieri improves him. He's very childlike at the start of the story, and he can't be trusted not to screw things up. He's worried that he's not worthy of Kieri, so with the encouragement of his friend Rhea, he tries to remedy that--becoming stronger, learning to read, and giving up the fears that hold him back.
For Kieri, it's because Buwaro gets under her defenses. She's been taught to fight against the evils of demons, but there's no way Buwaro could be described as evil. He's brave, kind, honest, and surprisingly hot, and that forces her to question what she knows. She's still a warrior, but she's not as fanatical as her fellows.
I guess it's my OTP because each becomes a better character than they would be on their own. The other's influence gives them needed depth.
