Yeah, that's the secret here - this character is a conceived douchebag who's every second line is a quote from some ~quality~ literature and he actually says that ebooks are trash and can't compare to ~real~ books, and my reaction is, hey, remember when you were like that? That was fun, let's do it again.

I don't get the whole e-book vs. paper book thing.

I mean, I understand having a personal preference for one over the other, just like having a preference for paperback or hardcover. But the whole "e-books are trash" just baffles me. Because a book isn't about paper or pixels, it's about words, and however people choose to get the words in front of their eyes (or into their ears), it's the words that matter.

(Of course, people were doing the same kind of lamenting/doomsaying when Pocket Books started selling cheap paperbacks.)
