While I agree that it's increasingly useless as a reflection of the pop landscape, I don't know if it's fair to say that the Billboard Top 25 is actually completely corrupt. Even if you think everyone is using payola, the count includes online play now, doesn't it? And I have to assume that would be harder to fix.

When I listen to the radio, I find it unbelievable that payola ISN'T a part of it because some of them are so incredibly bad pay for play seems the only reason they'd ever get air time.
