1580 is actually a lot. Don't believe the 2000 daily recommended stuff, it's horribly out of date and does not take individual height and weight differences into account, for women especially.

I'm a relatively slim woman (110 pounds at 5'5"), and 1580 calories just seems so little to me. I eat at least 1700-1800 calories a day.
But I also have a high metabolism and exercise often, so I realize I'm speaking from my own experiences, and what works for me probably doesn't work for others. OP, please feel free to disregard my advice!
