Re: slight TMI warning ahead
(Anonymous) 2015-01-10 10:58 pm (UTC)(link)DO NOT WANT. I'm having horrible, horrible memories of that one time I was locked in a house with my entire family and we all had food poisoning and couldn't move of the couch.
Why would you do that to yourself?
Re: slight TMI warning ahead
(Anonymous) 2015-01-10 11:05 pm (UTC)(link)I literally just stick my finger down my throat and a waterfall of melted ice cream comes back up. (Sorry for the mental image but this is a TMI thread). Repeat a few times until I stop throwing up ice cream then flush, wash my hands, rinse my mouth with water and go.
I mean, the worst thing is runny nose but it's not that bad. I just blow it and keep going.
I don't feel like I'm suffocating or anything.

(Anonymous) 2015-01-10 11:31 pm (UTC)(link)Stripping the enamel from my teeth.
Doesn't do my esophagus any favors to constantly have the acid crawl up.
Messes with electrolyte balance in the long term.
But this was the Danger Zone thread so I thought I might as well post as it's definitely inadvisable from a health perspective.
Re: slight TMI warning ahead
(Anonymous) 2015-01-11 12:28 am (UTC)(link)I never was bulimic (I'm one of the PTSDers in the thread going "Why am I reading this? This is just as unpleasant as it was when I was sick as a kid.") but all these things, yep, as well as constant sinusitis that has continued to plague me throughout my life.
Best wishes, OP, I hope you can get over this.
