Yeah, I agree. But the thing is, when someone's throwing out Stormfront shit, it's not opinions -- it's just straight up idiotic drivel. Like, it's not an "opinion" to say that white people are better than black people -- that's just demonstrably false on every level.

On a related topic, I judge people when they equate opinions with facts. I hate this BS in the media now that "we have to consider everyone's opinions because there's multiple sides to every issue and blah blah blah" - lol no.

On some things, the facts are pretty clear, and acting as though some guy's opinion is on the same level as someone who actually knows what the fuck they're talking about - that obscures the issue and leads to way too much dallying around and not doing anything to fix stuff.

Anti-vaxxers and climate change deniers are the worst for this.

Yeah, I agree there. I was talking more about fandom, not anything evidence based. In general, the things I was referring to were more about, say, film/TV/book quality, the writing, characters, shipping, power levels (WHO WOULD WIN?) and that stuff.
