Well, if I'd said you were a horrible human being, you'd have something to be upset by. I didn't, though, so we're all cool.

You said they were losing their humanity? I mean the wording is different to "horrible human being" but the meaning of those two statements are pretty close. I think hiding behind "Well I didn't say those actual words" is pretty pointless.

It's not very nice to tell someone they're losing their humanity because they don't react the way you think they should to something, though. Also, not reacting to gore and violence in media isn't the same as not reacting to it in real life. Gore and violence in movies, TV, and games doesn't get to me at all, but RL gore and violence still horrifies me. I cry seeing pictures from warzones or bad accidents.

Oh I read the first post completely backwards. Oops.

But it's still not very nice to tell someone they're losing their humanity. Also, people downthread have given some good reasons why someone wouldn't be bothered IRL.
