Are there Fandom secrets BNFs?

(Anonymous) 2015-01-13 01:00 am (UTC)(link)
yeah

but not to the extent that people say there are

(Anonymous) 2015-01-13 01:02 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah. A few of the users are really well known here, but it's not like anyone has something like a fanlore page dedicated to them either. (Well not to my knowledge, anyways.)

Not really. It's just that a lot of people are recognizable because it's not a large community and a lot of people come here everyday

it's like asking if Cheers, the bar on the show Cheers, had any BNFs in it. Well, no, not really. Norm isn't a BNF, it's just that everyone knows him.

Yes and no. Yes in the sense that a lot of named users are well known because it's a tiny community, and a lot of anons have extreme opinions about them.

No in that almost nobody actually gives enough of a shit to try to form any groups around them. Unless dethtoll and chard's hater anons have a secret club I don't know about.

To add: I honestly think the people who are best known are so because of their haters.

Has forgottenjester had haters? I thought people liked them just because they always brought the popcorn.

There are plenty of people (like Jester) who are well-liked by the community. But the people who are the best-known are the ones with haters, because those tend to spawn big threads and then be talked about later.

I don't like forgottenjester, but I don't bring it up or stalk them.

BNFs are specific to one fandom. I don't think that FS quilifies as a fandom.
