King Tut by Steve Martin (He's got a condo made of stone-a). Only because I was helping out one of our substitute teachers with music for a winter carnival lip-sync/dance competition thing she does. The theme this year is "Ancient Civilizations". Thank fuck her group got Egypt.

My parents used to sing parts of that song to each other when I was a little kid, and I totally thought it was something they made up until I was like 15.

It was on my Dr. Demento cassette tape set when I was a kid, but I was definitely a teenager before I figured out that the "King Tut" Steve Martin was THAT Steve Martin. In my defense, this was in the years pre-youtube.

Mercury by Sleeping at Last. Apparently. Had to google it, all I know is that it's been in at least two different Bagginshield fanmixes (and a fanvid!), and I'm beginning to think it's the next unofficial Thorin/Bilbo theme. (Which is totes okay because it's a gorgeous song.)
