OhMyGawd I love that series, flaws and problems and all. And yeah, Gansey/Ronan is a popular ship. :( I blame the fact that the narrative and author shit all over Adam.

I wish that was reflected in the fanfic side of fandom, haha. There's like over a 130 Adam/Ronan fics and only around 20 Gansey/Ronan.

I do love Adam though, the poor guy. I don't know how much of the fandom shares this opinion, but I actually liked him and Blue together even if it was doomed from the start. Why you gotta tease me like that, Stiefvater?

Fanfics focus on R/A and social media focuses on R/G or Ronan/Kavinsky (from the second book).

My preferred ship might be Adam/Happiness.

I actually got to meet Stiefvater at a writers' conference. I told her Adam was my favorite character and her face just fell. Like, I'm sorry I adore your character?

That is both sad, funny, and kind of surprising since her tumblr account makes her seem pretty aware of how many people enjoy Adam's character. I guess maybe she's just used to people saying that Ronan is their absolute favorite. He sure has a bunch of really intense fans

I think everyone can root for Adam/Happiness :D
