D: I'm sorry, it's a sucky disease, not just for the pain and how limiting it can be in day to day living, but it's one of those mostly-invisible conditions where people seem content to judge and be all, "Oh, are you really sick?"

Have you been tested for Lupus (insert it's never Lupus joke here)? There's a lot of symptomatic crossover there, it's one of the things they tested me for too.

Good luck! :D

Yeah, there's so much of that attitude around that I'm constantly doubting myself over my fatigue. I start worrying that I'm really just lazy. It's gotten to the point where I'm actually relieved when the pain is worse than the fatigue (which is rare for me) because at least then it feels more like a legitimate problem that's harder to dismiss. But of course people find ways to dismiss the pain too. Laziness is just a big insecurity of mine so the pain doesn't bother me as much personally.

I'm pretty sure lupus is one of the things they tested me for the last time they took about a half dozen vials of blood.

Oh man, I know, right? Some days I'm just completely wiped, but I feel like 'oh everyone gets tired' so it's not something I should 'give in' to, even if my co-workers (the good ones anyway) remind me that if I'm tired/in pain to sit down and take a break, not just push through and hurt myself more because I feel guilty. :/ Which unfortunately tends to be a default state for me.
