So...does anyone have any recs for single dad fic?

Because seeing this fic made me think of what a nice dad the Cap could be. It would be interesting to see him take on a ward, a baby or a kid, and raise the kid as his own, and all the trials and tribulations. If it's not out there...I'm afraid I'll start writing it.

If anyone knows of any "X raises child by himself" fic, please, post away. I'm especially looking for Steve (No, not Steve&Bucky, Steve&Sam, Steve&Nat, Steve&Sam&Nat [although I'd be open to reading that one]) any fandom and characters are encouraged, as someone else lurking the forum might be looking for it!

Does single mom count? I've seen a few different fics in the MLP fandom where a female adult raises a child without support, but never a male adult.

Unfortunately, I don't have any stories like that in my favorites. A good place to start would probably be http://www.fimfiction.net/group/198606/dinky-derpy-fics. There's also some stuff with Rainbow Dash raising Scootaloo.
