I don't hate hearing anyone talked about that way. I mean, unless they are a terrible person, and even then, I wish people would find something else to hate them over.

People age. It's a thing. We should be glad that Robert Smith got old because the alternative would have been awful.

I'm torn on him...

On the one hand, I am so happy he's still rocking the look into his 50s.
On the other, the way he's aging means he perpetually looks like he's just woken up with a hangover, so I wish he'd modify it somehow...change his hair, maybe, or switch up the makeup (lighter eyeshadow may help).

... I think that might actually be a wig and not his real hair. It's a stage persona and always has been a really convenient one. With the wig and make up off, nobody would know it was Robert Smith.

Aww you're so sweet, OP! I can understand when people made rude comments on the way certain famous people I like haven't aged well (gaining weight, actually looking like they have aged). Shallowness can be such a terrible thing. :(

I feel you, OP! I will always love Robert Smith and I still think he looks attractive too. Sean Penn looked terrible in that movie where he was styled similarly, but Robert Smith can always pull it off.
