To be honest, she's a bit of a stereotypical character--very cute, very feminine, and hopelessly in love with the MMC after he helps her get away from an angry dog. He seems very open-minded to her, and she thinks he'll be okay with her being trans. When she tells him, he freaks out, and at first, that's played for comedy. But the FMC bonds with her as someone who also has body issues, and the show gets surprisingly serious as they lift each other's spirits. This character actually becomes something of an inspiration to the FMC, making her believe that even if other people mock you for your body, you still deserve to be loved. Also, the MMC comes around a bit at the end of the episode, and while he doesn't outright apologize, he does take back some of what he said.

I haven't finished the show yet, so I'm not sure how she turns out. Apparently, she winds up dating the most un-PC character in the cast, which does worry me a little. (In what I've seen, he's very dismissive of her and refers to her by her male name, so I'm hoping he gets a lot of character development before that.)

Huh. Not sure if want or not. What's the show about in general?

Very, very low-budget romantic comedy. The creators clearly couldn't afford to keep everything on-model, so instead they do all sorts of crazy faces and exaggerated reactions. It's reliably cute, and it knows when to tone the zany down and take things seriously, but you have to be patient for some slow plot progression. (Then again, it's ten times faster than Ah My Goddess ever was.)

Ah, doesn't sound quite like my thing then, thanks anyway, OP!

to actually answer your question: it's about a girl who's "too tall" for a guy and a guy who's "too short" for a girl (and together, they make a great comedy duo because they're always bickering). she falls for him but he's kinda oblivious. shenanigans ensue. it's actually refreshing to see stuff like the secret, as well as other issues, addressed in a mature manner!

it's fun in the first half but it kinda drags in the second half.

Huh, interesting. It still doesn't sound like something I'd watch on my own time, but it does sound kind of cute. Maybe if one of my anime-inclined friends wants to watch something with me, I'll mention it!
