I'm not really in the fandom so I can't say. It'd be absurd to accuse the fictional Andrastian religion of things that aren't canon. But still, it was deliberately based on Christianity and functions very similar as a exclusive religious-political institution, that does do both good things and bad things. Like Christianity, a lot of the beliefs are not presented as historically compatible - like the common belief that Andraste's march was one of peace, when really she was leading an army. I mean, it's fictional, but it's blatantly mirroring Christianity. That being said, plenty of stuff is completely different - it doesn't seem to be sexist or homophobic, for example.
