I agree to an extent, but I will admit people annoy me when they claim to be fans of stuff, then don't know anything about the movie. However, I think there's a line between that and being expected to memorize everything.

I mean, I'm bad at names, so half the time I have no idea what the minor characters' names are unless I've seen the movie a few times or looked it up on IMBD.
