Family commitments and food are the only things that get me out of the house, especially now that it's winter up to eleven here. I don't drink and the bars here are all slimepits anyway, and there is one movie theatre with literally two screens in my town (everyone downloads, the old folks rent). I am too broke to eat out, and too broke to afford good groceries b/c everything is imported and expensive.

For reference I work full-time, but don't have a particularly stressful job. Keeping up the house to a reasonably sane level of cleanliness (sometimes I fail at this LOL), and keeping the outdoors hazard-free in all seasons, sucks what little remains of my energy at the end of the day. The life of a working stiff, such as it is.

SA

I should also add, I am thinking of getting off the hamster wheel, so if I make my otherwise really well-off life sound gloomy, that's why.
