I would definitely disagree with the characterization of Laura Caxton as non-tragic. Granted, it's hyperviolent action with vampires and gun porn, but it's still a series about a woman who painfully loses everyone she cares about.

Thinking about it, I'd have to agree!

I think I took OP's post to mean less "no happy endings for lesbians" trope than avoiding tragic books in general. Serves me right for not having coffe ^^;;
