Yep. In some ways, season one for me. I think it stopped being a show about outcasts in high school and started being a big asskiss to American Idol, to hell with characterization, basically.

Agreed.

Such a pity. The pilot was one of the most shockingly original things I'd seen for some time, and the first season although not on that level was really pretty good.
