I love the phrase "herding cats"; it also accurately describes the process of trying to get my whole family ready to go to dinner if we're going out (or something similar).

I love my friends; they're fantastic people with whom I've shared more than half my life. But. They are the wooooorst to plan anything with. There's also some people with Chronic Lateness involved too.

And people not responding/not confirming plans for meeting (or, worse, travel!) is near the very top of my list of stressors for my anxiety. I will have nightmares about arriving on a train and then not getting picked up.

I don't have chronic anxiety, but one of the things that will make me anxious is making plans with someone who isn't completely reliable and then as they approach wondering whether they'll cancel this time or not... :/

Lateness doesn't bug me as much, but that might be because I have a bit of chronic lateness myself. (Not necessarily super late though? Kind of depends on how you define it. It's common for me to run 5-15 minutes behind. I'm working on it.)
