Yes! It was actually the first comic I really read, back in middle school! (I didn't get far; my library only had the first two trades, and I couldn't find the third anywhere.)

It's cool, I read the first big arc, till after Winnowill's fall, and I figured that was a good place for me to stop. I heard things kinda went downhill after that, and it felt like a good solid ending for me. Polyqueer elves for everyone!

Hmm, I dunno. 'Tis true, it's hard to beat the first quest. There's a bit of faffing around directly following it, but the story gets back on track quite quickly. The 'Kings Of The Broken Wheel' arc and following stories are some of my favourites personally, even though they have some truly heartbreaking moments. Ain't anything better than Polyqueer elves! ^__^
