Re: how to buy a vacuum

Buy a commercial one. This one is $130, which is similar to what you'd pay at Walmart of Lowe's for a mid-to-upper range nice one. We bought it for our motel six or seven years ago, and it gets a LOT of use and is still going strong. But it has more parts that are metal, not plastic, so there's less on it to go wrong or snap off, and being commericial, it's made to last. Obviously this one here is no bells and whistles or hoses, etc. And it's a shake out bag, which I never minded. Not as easy as a plastic container bagless, but much easier than replacing bags. (My own personal vacuum, the wheels just fell off of, like the wheel 'piece' literally broke in half because of cheap plastic. It was around $100 when it was new. But I'd definitely buy a commercial one for me next time, just because of the less plastic used.)
