Okay, okay, so the old fans of Sweeny Todd think they're better than everyone else and anything new sucks. We get it. I haven't even seen the movie but I'm sick of hearing it. No one's forcing you to watch it.

Agreed. I haven't seen the movie either, but come on. The "Original > Remake" opinion is hardly a secret at all. You can get a lot of backlash from the fans of the original for liking the remake, but what consequences can come out from preferring the original? (Besides being "attacked" by rabid fans, but why the hell should that get to you when they can't even spell correctly much less make a compelling argument?)

People really don't want to hear that it's a mediocre movie and that Johnny Depp has overplayed his "hey I'm being weirdo Johnny Depp" persona.
