XD I'm working on the actual escape right now. Yes, that's enough to tear my hair out. Urgh, flinging gets me so disoriented and it gives me such bad motion sickness.

But I <3 this game! -hugs it-

Sometimes I got a bit dizzy, but haha it's so worth it. I'll probably do a third playthrough tonight since Bioshock scares the living shit out of me, and I'm stuck on Half-Life 2... goddamnit 1 LIFE WHAT THE SHIT IS THAT D:

How is Bioshock? It looks interesting. I've heard some good reviews from it, but I'm lacking a system to play it on, unless it's got a copy for the computer.

And I've never played Half Life ._. I'm usually not a big fan of FPS, but I went for Portal because of GLaDOS

It's terrifying. It's amazingly done, awesome graphics, the engine as far as Ive played is amazing and the whole weapons system is fucking brilliant.

Half-Life is awesome, especially if you like Portal, considering Portal is part of it's universe. The thing is, it has substance and story and it's deeper than it lets on, rather than old-ass FPS like Doom, Duke Nukem, and Wolfenstein (while amazing games in their own right, not much story than KILL THE ZOMBIES/ALIENS/NAZIS/ZOMBIE ALIEN NAZIS WITH SHARKS). The whole reason why Bioshock and Half-Life are good, is because of that level of STORY.

Kick ass! I will definitely have to check it out sometime in the future.

I believe you may have talked me into playing Half Life. I've always had more respect for the half-life line anyway because of the lack of hype. HL is popular, but Halo has gotten too much hype, so I'm tired of it and I've never even played it!

FPS with story, definitely up my alley. Thanks, man!

I admit to being a huge HALO fan, mainly because of the viral and ARG buildup to the games. The big thing is the multiplayer, which really does add to it's playability (though split screen is annoying as fuck so I only play on live).

Half-Life however has a quiet fanbase, which is more typical of American games (stfu ppl not every japanese game ever is good ok?! we only get the ones 'good enough' or not too weird -_-;;), but it's worth playing. It has everything needed in a good game- the story is gripping and intruiguing, the characters are brilliant (Alyx, the 'female companion' in the series is a well balanced, intellegent, and helpful character as opposed to the vapid characters you see in such games as DMC), the graphics are good without having the heavy weight of loading times, the music is brilliant, and the concepts and themes add to the overall gameplay.

I was jaded on FPS, until I got my 360. I reccomend Bioshock and the Halflife series if you enjoy FPS but tire of the ones with an under developed or over-hyped yet steriotypical story.
