Yeah, this would've been around 2011 or 2012, back when I used to go to school in the area and HPW had just opened.

RIP original Dueling Dragons.

What is the difference in the old and new Dueling Dragons?

I think they might have moved the reenactment to Olliviander's in Diagon Alley. I'd ask one of the employees when you hit the WWoHP. Also, it used to be that the line for the Hogwarts Express was shorter in Hogsmeade, so I'd begin there and make the return trip towards the evening, about an hour from closing time (lesser crowds).

Outside of the WWoHP, you shouldn't miss Rip Ride Rocket if you like roller coasters. Transformers is great, Hulk is impressive for the sheer noise it makes (supposedly the Hulk's roar). Minion Mayhem is also pretty fun, but I'm not sure if the ride is in Orlando as well or just Universal Hollywood. MIB can be skipped.

In general you can cut a lot of the waiting time if you go to the single rider line. If you're going in a group you won't be able to sit next to each other, but you really save a lot of time going through single rider. Also, check if one of the parks opens earlier than the other. Oh, and be at the gate half an hour earlier than the official opening time - they often open up earlier when a crowd has already gathered.

No prob, I used to work in tourism for a bit and I got to deal with the Orlando theme parks. Do you already have the tickets? If not I recommend buying them online beforehand, it doesn't just save you time at the gate but also a few bucks.

If it's up your alley and you have the time, you might want to check out the re-enactment of the tale of the Deathly Hallows at Cricket Market (Diagon Alley); actors play out the fairy tale with huge wood marionettes. It's a bit cheesy, but I loved it.
