As far as animated movies go, yes.

I honestly don't get why. It felt so painfully soulless and dishonest that I get second-hand embarrassment when people praise it. The fact that people think "Everything Is Awesome" is a positive song says a lot about the lack of awareness necessary to enjoy that damn film.

...Seriously? I mean I expected the whole parody/irony/whatever - of that song, and other bits of the film in general - would bypass the little kids in the audience (it certainly did the ones I went to see it with, but the oldest of them was six). People who are teen+ and have seen more than, say, a dozen movies in their whole lives? ...not so much.

Eh, well, the irony of it is lost without the context, so if you just hear it without seeing the movie it really does come off as a positive song. But I don't think people like it because they think it's positive, all that matters is that it's damn catchy and fun to sing along to.
