One of them is already erupted, but the dentist still thinks I'd need surgery to remove it. I'll admit to not knowing why, though maybe it's because the other one hasn't erupted yet, and getting both at the same time might be helpful?

I did used to have braces, so maybe he's worried about the wisdom teeth interfering with that; I'll admit, I'm not super sure. ^^;
