2. Are you looking for something that is explicitly SciFi? Like, if I have a series that takes place in the kind of future you're thinking of, but it's more slice-of-life than SciFi, is that okay?

I didn't, actually, I was talking about Aria and Aqua. In a future where Mars has been colonized, and the ice caps melted, Neo-Venezia hires young girls to be gondoliers in Mars' many canals. It's cute, it's slice of life, and it's set in something that is, IMO, a nice view of the future. However, because it does take place in a future Venice-like setting, the amount of actual sci-fi elements are slim.
