Yea, and Fitz/Ward didn't even have that many scenes together so I understand why that ship didn't sail earlier, and then...shit happened, so it wasn't likely to ever happen. (Which, again, is fine by me since I can't ship it now.)

We've discussed my odd feelings about Fitz/Simmons so I won't go over that again, but I think Fitz/Tripp/Simmons could've worked better than most OT3's. I can certainly see the appeal of both Fitz/Tripp and Tripp/Simmons. (And kind of wished at one point that Tripp/Simmons would actually happen, but then...shit.)

Now I'm all over Fitz/Mack and nothing can stop me.

There's probably some fic for it, and I wont begrudge anyone that does ship it. But yeah, not for me(also I kind of see the moments where Ward was nice to Fitz or Simmons in a new horrifying light).

See in canon I was hoping for Tripp/Simmons with Simmons and Fitz working out their friendship and the two of them being bff's again, but well... apparently I wasn't allowed that. RUDE SHOW. RUDE.

Fitz/Mack is pretty sweet ngl, and at least they're both still alive. ~~FOR NOW~~.

Same. And I don't think I can ever look at Ward's relationship with any of them the same after the whole Hydra mess. I just don't want him to ever be close to anyone on the team again.

I would've been down with that! I'm still hoping that Fitz and Simmons work things out and become BFF's again but don't hook up. They're such perfect friends and I still don't get the feeling that Simmons sees him in that way. If they could be BFF's but date other people (or no one, whatever) that would be great.

The finale fucked me up, man. I almost said, "This is it, I'm out" because I thought Mack was done for and I've grown so attached to Mack, but then...well, they still broke my heart. I wish the shitheads would die once in a while. :/

He needs to stay as far away as possible from the team, forever.

Yeah I miss their close friendship, I mean it got messed up for understandable reasons but I hope they can get it back to some extent, they were so loving and supportive of each other and it was sweet. Yeah it doesn't feel like she feels that way about him to me either, but I don't take that as a guarantee that they'll keep it that way, I'd like them to though.

Ha, man for like an hour after the mid-season finale I was like 'I'm fucking done with this show' because I was so mad at what happened to Tripp but then I remembered that Mack was still around, and Skye and Simmons and Bobbi, and it's like, okay so one of my faves is dead but a bunch are still alive. I can semi-live with this. Still would have preferred British what's-his-face to have bitten it instead. Or Ward.

I fully expect the show to go there too, but right now I'm just going to ignore it. I do want them to make up and be close again, though. They would be so much happier if they could get back on the same page; they're so good at supporting one another.

I can't even blame you because I heard Mack died (which...didn't quite happen) and freaked out and took a while to catch up. Never in a million years did I think Tripp would die. When I found out I was angry, too; he was definitely my favorite character in season one (well, besides Fitz and Simmons) and I assumed he was going to stick around for a long time. I would've rather what's his face or Ward died too. (I actually said this to a friend. Even the what's his face part...I have no clue what his name is.)

Ha, yeeaaaaaa I'm expecting them to go that route as much as I'd like them to keep Fitz and Simmons as best buds.

I think the thing that burns me the most is that Tripp was completely underused during the first half of the season, like he barely did anything outside of snarking with Skye(which I liked don't get me wrong) and occasionally going on a mission, so the fact that they offed him feels like such a waste to me. They should have at least done more with his character before killing him off.

Oh gosh I'd have been freaking out in your place as well, that's never a nice thing to hear before-hand. Thankfully it didn't come to that, though I was really worried about Mack the entire episode because of what had happened to him.(I don't know his name either, tells you how much I care :P).
